AGREEMENT WITH THE AUTHOR

I confirm that I am the author of the submitted work, hold the necessary copyright and am authorised to grant Divan the permissions stated here. Publication and narration of the work do not infringe third-party rights. Copyright and moral rights in the work remain mine. I grant Divan Studio (Divan) a non-exclusive licence to prepare and offer an e-book and, if it chooses to produce narration, an audio edition of the submitted work through the Divan website and apps, available worldwide. The licence has no fixed end date, subject to the withdrawal terms below. Submitting a PDF is an application for editorial review, not automatic publication, acceptance or a promise to produce narration. Before publication and the start of narration production, cooperation is confirmed in a written author agreement for the specific work. No acceptance, production or delivery date is guaranteed. If narration has not yet been produced, I may request withdrawal of the work without a narration fee. If narration is complete and I later request withdrawal from Divan by mutual agreement, the proposed compensation for the completed narration is EUR 89.90 per hour of final audio. The amount is proportional to the actual duration, without rounding up to a full hour; 90 minutes costs EUR 134.85. The calculation and payment terms are confirmed in writing before withdrawal by mutual agreement. After production I receive copies of the e-book and narration. I may use and share the narration free of charge for non-commercial purposes while the book is published on Divan; I may not separately sell or sublicense it. Use of the narration after withdrawal is governed by a separate written agreement. These terms do not exclude rights granted to authors by mandatory law, including statutory grounds for termination or withdrawal. Compensation for withdrawal by mutual agreement does not replace statutory rules and is not charged automatically upon submission.

I consent to Divan storing the data from this submission, my Divan account and the PDF manuscript for editorial review, consent records and necessary storage. The submission and manuscript are available to me and the owner of Divan for review; submitting them does not publish them in the library.

Submitting your PDF does not publish it in the library. The acceptance decision appears with your submission. The agreement in the terms above applies to preparing and offering the editions.
